3. Why does it cost more than wax?

Wax is something that can be applied in a driveway. The ceramic coatings, since they form a semi-permanent bond to the paint coating, have to be completely prepped and detailed, including paint correction before applying the coating. As this is a multi-step process, the detail shop spends on average, at least 6 hours on making sure you get the best result from your ceramic coating package of choice.

2. GT Quartz Professional – 9H
3. Titanium – 9H+

5. What is the difference between the GT Quartz Select, Professional and the Titanium?

The main difference between all three levels is the duration of protection for your vehicle. The GT Quartz Select provides protection for up to three (3) years, while the professional can provide protection for up to five (5) years. The Titanium is a two-step process and will protect your vehicle for over ten (10) years. The GT Quartz Select is available for anyone to buy, whereas only allow authorized application centers are able to purchase and offer our Professional and Titanium levels.

6. Can I still wax my car?

8. What surfaces can be coated?

9. What is paint correction?

Paint correction, also known as paint polishing or buffing, is the process of restoring and rejuvenating the paint on a vehicle, through elimination of surface imperfections such as swirl marks and scratches, bird dropping etching and acid rain etching and random isolated scratches.

10. Does the ceramic coating prevent paint chips?

No, it does not.

11. After getting a coating application do I still need to wash my car?

Yes. While the coating has a self-cleaning effect to keep the vehicle cleaner for longer, you still do need to clean the coating. The wash process will be much faster and easier. Dirt, bird droppings, and other road contaminants do not bond to the vehicle surface.

12. What is the difference between ceramic coatings and paint protection film?

Both serve the purpose in protecting your car and keeping it looking newer for longer. Paint protection film application requires no paint correction, but it does not enhance the entire gloss of the vehicle. Ceramic coatings create a hydrophobic surface, which lets the rain bead up and fall off the vehicle without leaving marks and it enhances day-to-day appearance of the vehicle.
